Using the People Filter

The People filter lets you focus your view on the assignments and hours of specific people.

As your list of projects grows, you may want to add filters to your Schedule dashboard to only display specific aspects of the project, such as specific people.

To filter your dashboard view:

  1. Select the Filters icon Filters icon on the Schedule page to open the Filters menu.

  2. Select the drop-down arrow next to the People heading to view a list of your people resources.
  3. Select one or more People or Roles whose assignments you want to view.
    • Once a selection is made, a label known as a "chip" displays at the top of that filter option list, highlighted in purple.

      • To remove a selection, select the X in the filter selection's chip or disable the check box next to the person or role.
      • There is no limit to the amount of chips that can be selected.
      • Chips display in the order they were selected.
  4. Alternatively, enter a person or role name (or part of a person or role name) in the Find field. When the person or role name displays, select the check box.
    • If a partial person or role name is entered, all people or roles containing that text display.
    • You can select multiple people or role check boxes.
    • If no match to the person or role entered is found, a "No People Found" message displays under the Find field.
    • Select the X in the Find field to delete the entered text and display all people or roles.
  5. Select Apply. Only the people selected display on the Schedule.
    • A number displays beside the heading to indicate how many filter options were selected in that section.
