Do you have any questions about setting up, understanding, or editing resources from your Schedule? You've come to the right place!

This FAQ article provides answers to common questions about the various actions that can be performed on the Schedule page.

General

Q. Why do I get a fuzzy outline of the page with no content?
A.

If the page's content does not load immediately, an outline (Skeleton UI) of the page displays while the data is loading.

Display Options

Q. Can I resize people / project row height?
A. You can use the Density display feature in My Settings to adjust the row height of all rows.
Q. Why is the Today button always visible, even when the current date is on the schedule page?
A. The Today button is tied to the animation of the application, which helps Audere stay within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Also, any animations that start automatically can be disabled.

Projects 

Q. Can I add resources from the Schedule?
A.

Regardless of which Schedule view you have selected, the add button-1 Add icon drop-down menu with Create New Project, Create New Person, and Create New Role is always present.

Q. Can I add a client to a project after creating it?
A. Yes! Client isn't a required field when creating a new project. At any point, you can update a project and add (or change) the client assigned to the project.

People

Q. Can I make changes to an existing person?
A. The Updating a Person article can answer any question you have about updating one of your person resources.
Q. Can I assign a project to a person?
A. Most definitely, the Adding a Project to a Resource article has all the information you need.
Q. How do I reset a person's account if they're locked out?
A. Don't you hate when that happens? Owners and administrators can reset user permissions for accounts they oversee by following the steps in the Resetting a Person article.
Q. Can I resend an Audere invite to a person?
A. Absolutely! An account owner or administrator can resend an invite at any time in the Edit Person dialog. See the Inviting a Person article for more information.
Q. Are there visual cues to show how many hours a person has?
A. Yup, the Reviewing the Schedule article can show you how that information is displayed on your Schedule page.

Phases

Q. How can I update a phase?
A. There are a number of ways you can make updates to existing phases:
  • You can rename a phase name with the help of the Editing a Phase Name article.
  • You can move a phase on the schedule with the Moving a Phase Schedule article.
  • You can reorder your phases by reading the Reordering Phases article.
  • If you find yourself with an excess of phases, no worries! Take a look at the Deleting a Phase article for guidance on how to remove any unnecessary phases.

Assignments

Q. How do I create a new assignment?
A. Easily! Check out the Creating a New Assignment article to learn more.
Q. Where can I view my assignments?
A. Select the Audere logo in the upper-left corner of the Schedule page to view a dedicated list of your past and current assignments. See the Viewing Your Assignments article to learn how to sort through your assignments.
Q. How do I update my assignment information?
A. You can do this a number of ways:
Q. If a resource leaves the project, how can I shift all their assignments to the role?
A. Follow these steps to shift an assignment:
  1. Navigate to the Project: People or Project: Phase View 1white of the Schedule page.
  2. When the floating action icons display, select the edit button-3 More Actions icon and then select Reassign 2white.
  3. Select another Person or Role 3white to assign those hours to.

Q. Can I edit assignment dates without opening the edit modal?
A. Yes! You can adjust the dates of an assignment by dragging-and-dropping the Assignment Bar. See Changing Assignment Dates for details on how to change assignment dates via the Assignment Bar.

Filters and Views

Filters

Q. Is there a limit to how many filters I can apply at one time?
A. Nope! Each filter can be selected at the same time and remain active even after signing out and logging back in.
Q. How do I filter what I can see on my Schedule page?
A. You can start by selecting the Filters icon Filters icon in the upper-left corner, then there are a number of different ways to filter your view:
Q. Why can't I find a newly created person, role, or project?
A.

First, check your filters. To display all people, roles and projects display, ensure there are no selections for the People, People Status, Roles, Projects or Project Status filter options.

Second, check your view. The best way to view all people and roles, select the People: Projects or People: Phases views. The best way to view all projects, select the Projects: People or Projects: Phases views.

Views

Q. Can I customize my Schedule view?
A. Of course! You can customize your Schedule view in a number of ways:
Q. Can I export my Schedule data?
A. For sure, just select the Export icon in the upper-right side of the Schedule page. For more information on what the export process entails, see the Exporting Schedule Data article.
Q. What's the difference between the People and Projects views?
A.

The Projects view allows you to view your Schedule with projects as the primary listing and a choice of Phases or People as the subcategory.

The People view arranges your Schedule with people as the primary listing with a choice of Projects or Phases as the subcategory.

Q. How can I hide the Project / People list?
A.

Hover your cursor between the People / Projects column area and the Schedule and select the left arrow in the grid divider button Grid Divider icon to expand the Schedule.

  • The Schedule view expands to the full width of the page, hiding the Projects / People list.
